The ArtisticMinds project is gaining momentum. After intense months of workshops, meetings, research, and activities carried out across six partner countries, the teams working on the project are entering the next important stage — finalising one of the project’s key results: the Artistic Minds Educational Guide.
This is a tool designed for trainers, teachers, artists, and organisations working at the intersection of culture, education, and inclusivity.
What has been achieved?
The last few months have been exceptionally intense for the project. Artistic Minds partners have jointly organised:
- 12 workshops,
- 8 launch events,
- 16 focus groups,
- 7 project presentations,
- 7 dissemination events.
Hundreds of people took part in the project’s activities — from young participants and practitioners to experts in culture, education, and mental health. Behind these numbers are real meetings, experiences, and conversations that help build a more accessible and inclusive cultural sector for young people with intellectual disabilities and neurodivergent individuals.
The Artistic Minds Educational Guide
One of the most important results of the project will be the Artistic Minds Educational Guide — a comprehensive set of educational materials and practical tools supporting inclusive creativity. The publication is being developed by experts from six European countries and will soon be available in several language versions.
The guide will include, among other things:
- 15 learning models,
- over 25 ready-to-use activities and exercises,
- practical tools for workshop facilitation,
- materials adapted to different educational and artistic contexts.
The whole guide is being created with accessibility and flexibility in mind, so it can be used by organisations, educators, artists, and people working with young people.
International collaboration and testing in practice
The guide is not being developed solely “on paper”. Project partners are currently running pilot workshops in all countries participating in Artistic Minds, testing the educational materials in practice — together with young people and specialists working in the cultural and educational sectors.
This stage allows us to gather direct feedback, observe how the proposed learning models work, and introduce final improvements before the publication’s official release. National Advisory Committees also played an important role in this process, reviewing and developing individual parts of the materials.
This is just the beginning
The educational guide is just one of the results currently being developed within the Artistic Minds project. Partners are also working on further tools, materials, and activities supporting a more inclusive cultural sector and creative industries in Europe.
All of the project’s activities are based on shared values: accessibility, creativity, collaboration, and real social impact.
Looking ahead
The Artistic Minds project continues to develop activities that connect culture, education, technology, and inclusivity. The goal is to create spaces where young people — regardless of their abilities — can develop creatively, participate in culture, and actively co-create it.
We believe that the future of the cultural sector should be accessible to everyone — and that’s exactly the kind of future we want to build together.
